「What is IEKAKI Ideal Housing? 」
What is your favorite lifestyle? What is your ideal home?

Mitsui Fudosan Residential Co., Ltd. operates our blog, Let's Talk About Housing - IEHATENA,, on the weblog hosting service "Hatena Diary", owned by Hatena Co., Ltd. as a vehicle for readers to share views and ideas about ideal homes. We included a questionnaire called "IEHATENA questionnaire" in this blog.

We asked the questions about living and homes in a casual manner, in line with our theme for this project: "What is your ideal lifestyle? What are your views on homes?"
(Period of questionnaire: March through August, 2006) (Click here to see the question list of the IEHATENA questionnaire.)

While the questionnaire was on the website, we posed 103 questions to 1,000 Hatena questionnaire users over the six-month period. As a result, we collected 1,000 x 103 = 103,000 responses (voices) on the subjects of homes and living.
Koji Nishida of RAKU-GAKI, who creates his own imaginary worlds in collage, and other creators attempted to interpret those "103,000 voices regarding housing and living" in image form.
That is IEKAKI Ideal Housing.
(Note: Graphics, including buildings, flowers and greeneries used in IEKAKI Ideal Housing website are transformation of CGs and images that Mitsui Fudosan Residential Co., Ltd. created for our sales operation. These do not actually exist.)

At IEKAKI Ideal Housing, visitors can add comments to the responses to any of the 103 questions. Anyone can add their opinions on this website.

And, for those who "want to ask questions other than the original 103" or "want to ask about other matters to other people's opinions," there is a new question-creation function.
Using this function, visitors to the site can transform themselves into the questioners. The next visitor can enter his/her answer to the new question.
(Note: This function is limited to the Japanese language site)

IEKAKI Ideal Housing describes the process of using a great deal of assembled intelligence to collect further input and opinions,
individual thoughts about homes and living, and dreams and feelings that many people can share.
Why don't you share your thoughts about your ideal home and lifestyle with other visitors to this website?
